About the Two Bridges Shooting Club

The Two Bridges Shooting Club has been in existence for many years. It was started back in the 1960s by staff working at Dartmoor prison but soon became available for anyone who had an interest in clay target shooting in a low key friendly sort of way. Over the years we have been very lucky to be able to use land belonging to the Two Bridges Hotel, and to this day they remain happy to accommodate us on this land about half a mile away from the Hotel.

We have Devon & Cornwall Police approval for our activities and through agreement with them we are able to, on certain Sundays, to offer non-certificated shooters the chance to be introduced to clay target shooting under safe and properly supervised conditions.

We are fully insured and members of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA)

We meet on Sunday mornings, weather permitting, starting fairly promptly at 10.00am and ending at 12 noon or shortly thereafter. We also have a long tradition of shooting on Thursday evenings, 6.30-8.00pm during the summer months. This tradition fell into disuse for some years but has been resurrected for 2016.
